Hi Dianne,

Thanks for your question! Working from home can be a challenge because your work is always "there". A few things that I recommend for anyone working from home:

Have an office that is 100% an office. Certainly you can have an office/bedroom or an office/living room or an office/kitchen - it's do'able. But when you have an office that is only used for your business, two things happen. You have the ability to shut the door and not walk past your computer, your phone, your to-do pile...and feel tempted to sit down for a minute. The other thing is friends, family, and overall onlookers are not passing by your desk and potentially seeing client work, your business plan, your bills... I'm a stickler for keeping my client's work out of the public eye.

I also recommend considering general office hours. I'm most productive when I "block my time", and having general office hours helps me do that.

Thanks again for posting a question, Dianne!

Best,
Jessica

Hi Jessica! Congrats on your book! My question is: what do you find to be the hardest part about working out of your house?
